Our two-stage filter echoes earth’s natural mineral filtration to give you water that tastes refreshingly smooth.
The MINA Filter uses granulated activated carbon (GAC) to reduce chemicals like chlorine and mercury, as well as ion-exchange resin to filter heavy metals like lead and cadmium.

Ordinary filters strip away essential minerals that your body needs to thrive. Santevia infuses healthy minerals like calcium and magnesium into water to support your optimal body balance and make your water taste great.

Made in North America
MINA stands for Made In North America. Santevia is committed to local manufacturing in Vancouver, BC.

Experience
It was good I really like the taste of the water. The quality of the pitcher is really good and the quantity is enough.

Santevia MINA Alkaline Pitcher
So far, so good. I like this slimmer and lighter version to the pitcher we had before.

Water is Great
I am drinking more water and it reminds me of the water I drank as a kid from our well on acreage.

Not good as expected !
The water is coming down to the bottom way too fast compared to your seven stage filtration floor standing filter ! That does an awesome job and i have been using that for years ! That is a clear indication (no pun intended ) that not much of filtering is going on ! Or maybe the filter was faulty ..
Santevia
Hi Suresh, there are two different kinds of filtration happening here. Our Gravity Water System is large enough that it has an added stage of filtration with a Ceramic Pre-filter (a physical filter) that actually traps sediment from your water. This trapping of sediment takes much longer and is actually called long-contact filtration. Whereas the MINA Pitcher is much smaller and doesn't have space for a Ceramic Pre-filter so its filtration speed is much faster. That said, rest assured that the MINA Pitcher is still very good at chemical filtration due to the mix of Granulated Activated Carbon and Ion-Exchange Resin that it uses.
