Our two-stage filter echoes earth’s natural mineral filtration to give you water that tastes refreshingly smooth.
The MINA Filter uses granulated activated carbon (GAC) to reduce chemicals like chlorine and mercury, as well as ion-exchange resin to filter heavy metals like lead and cadmium.

Ordinary filters strip away essential minerals that your body needs to thrive. Santevia infuses healthy minerals like calcium and magnesium into water to support your optimal body balance and make your water taste great.

Made in North America
MINA stands for Made In North America. Santevia is committed to local manufacturing in Vancouver, BC.

Disappointing
I purchased this product from Planet Organic, and now that they're bankrupt I cannot return this. As the other review mentioned, after a few uses there were black particles that were released into my water... I am unsure if this is normal but it seems odd to me and I stopped using it because of this. I was looking at purchasing a new one because I did notice a difference in the water when I first used this pitcher, but I don't want to waste my money a second time if this happens again. I would like someone to please contact me. Thank you.

Hi Ashley, I'm sorry to hear about your experience. Reach out to us at help@santevia.com and we'd be happy to take your product back. As for the carbon you're seeing in your water, that can happen when you start using a new filter. This is granulated activated carbon and is not harmful to you. In fact, you can even buy it to consume from your local health food store. I recommend conditioning your filter again and that should solve the issue!
Cheaply Made
I love the water , but the pitcher is not made well. The monthly timer fell off the first month. I called the co in Richmond BC. The guy was rude and said that They would not replace or stand behind their product.Buyer Beware...it states Made in Canada....double check as I highly doubt it!
Santevia

Hello Carole, Thank you for your valuable feedback. We have reached out to you over email so that we can work together to solve the issues you are having. We will be sending you a replacement timer. Every once in a while air bubbles can become trapped within the filter itself. Please try lightly tapping the Pitcher on the counter to release the air bubble(s). We look forward to hearing back from you.

Hi Doug, it was nice to chat with you over email. Your replacement spout should be arriving in the mail shortly! Thank you for your understanding and please let us know if you have any questions. Thanks!

pH Test
I’ve used this product as directed and after doing a pH text on the water from the pitcher and the water directly from the tap I saw no significant change in the pH reading.

Hi Karen, Thanks for sharing! This is actually a common misconception with testing alkaline water. Litmus test paper is not formulated to check for mineral content (calcium, magnesium, manganese, zinc, etc.) which is what makes the Santevia water alkaline. We always recommend using a liquid pH test kit or a digital pH reader for accurate results. Thank you!
