Mina filters
It was difficult to get the filter into the right place, despite reading the instructions. But the chat rep was able to help me and all is well. This little filter comparable to the larger gravity feed counter top system. Great tasting water.

Mina replacement filters
The filter was easy to install, and the instructions to activate it were clear, and easy to follow..

Supposed to be compostable (innards) and recyclable (outer)
The company generously (thank you) provided me with a new one, as my previous one made the water taste funny for some reason. The new one seems to be much better. But I tried and tried and even gave it to someone with stronger hands to open up the lid of the old filter so we could do the composting and recycling, as instructed, but opening it was impossible. So we had to throw it out. :(

Hi Melissa, We are sorry you had such a tough time removing the lid from your MINA Filter. If this ever happens again, we recommend soaking the filter upside down in a bowl of boiled water for ~15-30 seconds. This will loosen the plastic enough so that the lid can be easily removed. Remember to use an oven mitt or a dish towel because it may be hot! We are continually working to improve all of our products and we truly appreciate your feedback. Thank you!
